	I wonder why lobotomies interest me so much. I think it's because sometimes I feel as if all the social punishment I've received for my personality, my way of being, has been to make me normal. I am in the very fortunate position to be able to resist attempts to squash and normalize my personality. These people weren't so lucky. I am sorry. (Reply to this)(Thread)

	I also think sometime I want a lobotomy. It's an escapist-fantasy, but when I'm depressed I have self-destructive thoughts. (Reply to this)(Parent)

	That radio program was really interesting. I've looked at the book (of the same name) at my store several times, but I never picked it up, because frankly the topic kinda scares me. But I'm sure it would be fascinating. (Reply to this)(Thread)

	Yeah, the book store next to me apparently has it in stock. I'm thinking about walking over there tomorrow. I'm a little nervous too. It's hard to read about people's suffering but it might not be totally depressing. It'll probably be very interesting or even enlightening. We'll see. (Reply to this)(Parent)
